Tree Care Foreman
Tree Crew Foreman / Lead Climber
Urban Tree Management we are hiring an experienced Tree Crew Foreman / Lead Climber for high-end residential properties and woodland management projects. This position is for a seasoned professional—someone who can lead crews, execute complex climbing and rigging work, and represent a premium tree care operation with confidence and professionalism.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage tree crews on high-value residential estates and woodland sites
- Perform advanced climbing, pruning, removals, and technical rigging
- Direct ground operations with clear, professional communication
- Plan jobs, conduct tailgate safety meetings, and identify site hazards
- Ensure compliance with ANSI Z133 and company safety standards
- Maintain exceptional workmanship, site care, and client-facing professionalism
- Mentor crew members and uphold high performance standards
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of professional tree care experience
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
- Extensive experience as a production climber, including complex removals
- Proven crew leadership / foreman experience
- Strong job-planning, rigging, and safety judgment
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
- Physically capable of demanding, technical fieldwork
Preferred Experience/Qualifications
- ISA Certified Arborist
- CTSP or formal safety training
- Experience with cranes, lifts, and advanced rigging
- Background in woodland or large-property tree management
