Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated perioperative nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards and the nursing process
- Prepare and position patients, assist with procedures, and maintain sterile technique in the operating room
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, identify changes, and communicate with the surgical team
- Administer medications and support anesthesia as ordered; manage equipment and supplies
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes

Requirements
- Active California RN license (or eligibility) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Perioperative or operating room nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital operating room environment
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment
- Strong communication, teamwork, and bedside nursing skills
