Accounts Payable Specialist

As an Accounts Payable Specialist at DN , you will be responsible for timely and accurate processing of invoices, driving appropriate discounting opportunities, managing of key vendor relationships and supporting internal business partners. The ideal candidate for this role is a motivated individual who possesses a positive attitude with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently, with the ability to meet quick deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Enter project specific vendor invoices for payment processing.


• Prepare cash outflow forecasting to present to key stakeholders.


• Prepare pre-payment register for review and approval.


• Timely reconciliation of Accounts Payable vendor statements.


• Coordinate the preparation and distribution of checks.


• Ensure compliance with shortform subcontractor (i.e., lien releases).


• Manage Accounts Payable incoming mail and distribution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Accounting


• Degree in Mathematics, Accounting or similar (preferred)


• Strong organization skills


• Detail oriented


• Mathematically driven


• Experience with Microsoft Excel

$33 - $39 an hour

This is our good faith estimate of the base salary compensation range for this opportunity. Individual pay decisions will vary based upon the experience and qualifications of the applicant. This range is based on market rates and determined by considering many factors such as external market salary survey data, internal data for comparable roles, and the operational and budgetary objectives of the company.
