Construction Small Tools Dispatcher

Joseph J. Albanese, Inc., is seeking to add a Small Tools Dispatcher with construction or rental tools knowledge and experience to our team. This position will be responsible for dispatching and tracking small tools in for the SF Bay Area. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• First line support for internal customer calls and making sure the correct tools are deployed to projects.
• Dispatch and track small tools management daily.
• Coordination and dispatching of drivers for deliveries and pick-ups.
• Manage and dispatch deliveries for the following day.
• Responsible for updating the missing or broken tools report daily.
Responsible for updating the small tools inventory management reports weekly.

NOTE: These duties listed are meant to describe the general scope of the work. Other duties may be assigned based on business needs within the organization.

QUALIFICATONS:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Knowledge of construction small tools equipment (i.e. skilsaw, bulldog tools).
• Knowledge of cycle counting and the ability to apply it to the small tools inventory.
• Experience using a software inventory management system for small tools equipment preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including HCSS, Vista and MS Office applications preferred.
• Minimum of High School Degree or equivalent required.
• Proven problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• The ability to create and implement cost-saving measures throughout the small tools department.
• Ability to multi-task and have strong organization skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain vendor relations.
• Strong work ethic, team player, ability to work with minimal supervision.

OTHER:

• Ability to stand for long period of times.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment as needed.
• Ability to work in warehouse environment on concrete flooring and in varying temperatures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
