**Job Title: Material Handler**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Material Handler who is proficient in operating reach and sit-down forklifts, with experience in turret trucks and high reach equipment as a plus. The ideal candidate must be comfortable using RF scanners and have SAP knowledge. This role involves cycle counts to check shipments and inventory, sample checks, and following GMPs due to our food facility standards. The ability to lift 50 pounds is required.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts to load and unload trucks and stage pallets.
+ Conduct inventory checks and compare labels on pallets, ensuring correct placement.
+ Perform cycle counts and sample checks to maintain accurate inventory records.
+ Follow GMPs and maintain cleanliness within the food manufacturing facility.
+ Inspect and store materials, ensuring proper stacking and loading patterns.
+ Report any issues with materials or trucks to the lead during inbounds inspections.
+ Check outbound shipments, verify truck license plates, and ensure quality standards are met before loading.
+ Seal pallets and ensure secure transportation using airbags, straps, or cardboard.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least two years of recent experience operating sit-down and high reach forklifts, with 3+ years preferred.
+ Proficiency in using RF scanners and SAP systems.
+ Experience in shipping and receiving.
+ Ability to work in confined or tighter spaces.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in turret trucks and high reach equipment is a plus.
+ Knowledge of GMPs in a food manufacturing environment.

**Work Environment**
Work in a warm, fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Shifts are available from 7AM-3:30PM and 3PM-11:30PM, with flexibility for overtime and weekend work. The facility requires adherence to strict cleanliness standards, and the role includes operating in confined spaces. Orientation lasts eight days, and attendance is crucial for successful completion.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of American Canyon, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.50/hr.
