Job Title: Commercial Property Manager

Location: In office (Beverly Hills) and on-site (Greater Los Angeles)

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $70K-$80K (DOE)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Commercial Property Manager to be responsible for the daily operations, maintenance, and profitability of residential and commercial properties in the portfolio. This includes overseeing tenant relations, coordinating repairs and maintenance, ensuring legal compliance, and maximizing property value and occupancy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tenant Management:
  • Screen and approve potential tenants.
  • Prepare and enforce lease agreements.
  • Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and disputes.
  • Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and property inspections.
• Property Maintenance:
  • Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
  • Conduct regular property inspections.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts (e.g., landscaping, janitorial, HVAC).
• Financial Management:
  • Collect rent and other payments; issue late notices as needed.
• Legal and Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including LAHD.
  • Handle evictions and coordinate with legal counsel as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records.
• Marketing and Leasing:
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants.
  • Advertise available units through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct property tours and showings.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Property Manager or similar role (2-7 years experience)
• Strong understanding of property laws and housing regulations.
• Bilingual applicants highly preferred (English and Spanish)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and resolve problems effectively.
• Knowledge of Appfolio software is preferred

Education & Experience:

• 2-7 Year of experience as a property manager or similar

Work Environment:

• In office (Beverly Hills) or on-site depending on the property.
• May require occasional evening or weekend work for emergencies or showings.

Compensation/Benefits:

• $70-80K Salary (DOE) + Annual Discretionary Bonus
