3rd Shift Fleet Technician
DeVivo Truck & Trailer currently has a full-time Technician opening at our location in Lancaster, NY. This position works at a customer facility and will help maintain a fleet of 140 dry vans, 120 reefer trailers and 6 yard horses. This is a 3rd shift, 4-day work week position (Tuesday and Wednesday 9 PM to 7 AM, Thursday and Friday 7 PM to 7 AM).

- Compensation of $20.00-54.00/hour
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair fleet of trailers per industry standards
- Follow established technical & administrative processes
- Complete repair orders and parts usage forms, PM lists and parts accountability
- Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members & customers
- Remain current on technical & regulation requirements
- Perform road service calls, perform road rescue/transport equipment as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules, regulations and government guidelines
Position Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience as an automotive, truck, bus or trailer technician
- Ability to prioritize, and complete job assignments
- Proficient with computer operation/usage
- Valid driver’s license, CDL preferred
- Reliable, motivated, strong work ethic, can-do attitude
- Owns and maintains the proper hand tools to perform job functions
- A New York State motor vehicle inspector certificate is preferred but not required
