Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Accounting Specialist , where you'll play a key role in Plasmidsaurus’s financial operations. As part of a collaborative team:

• You'll oversee the smooth and timely processing of invoices, customer payments, and vendor registrations.

• Your expertise will help maintain compliance with industry regulations and coordination with our company ordering systems.

• You’ll monitor the aging report, reconcile customer accounts, and assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, driving the success of our financial processes.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of accounting principles is required.

• Detail-Oriented & Organized: Meticulous attention to detail and ability to stay organized while working on multiple projects at a time

• Accounting Experience : 2-4 years of experience in accounting or related finance role is strongly preferred. Experience with university procurement processes is a plus.

• Problem Solver: Creative problem solver who can dig into financial issues and figure out ways to resolve it

• Communication : Excellent communication skills with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to clearly communicate financial status to customers, leadership, and other departments

• Proactive: Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently

• Passion for Dinosaurs: Must love dinosaurs
