What We Do
At First American, we believe that engaged employees are the foundation of our success. We are seeking a passionate and organized Employee Engagement Specialist to join our team and help us cultivate an inclusive, positive, and productive work environment. In this role, you will play a key role in developing and implementing impactful employee engagement programs, fostering a strong sense of community, and driving positive change across the organization.
This role will be hybrid 2-3 days per week onsite in a First American office in any of our major markets including Santa Ana, CA, Phoenix, AZ, Tampa, FL, Dallas, TX, New York, NY, Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA, Seattle, WA.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and implement engaging and effective employee engagement programs, including but not limited to:
- Award and recognition programs
- Employee appreciation initiatives
- Community outreach programs
- Conduct employee surveys and focus groups to gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze data from various sources to measure the impact of employee engagement programs and track progress towards goals.
- Leverage writing expertise to compile and articulate compelling narratives to support applications for workplace recognition programs.
- Stay up-to-date on trends and best practices in employee engagement and lead the implementation of new initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of employee engagement programs with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including dashboards and reports, to effectively communicate the impact of employee engagement initiatives.
- Manage event logistics and ensure the smooth execution of all engagement programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in employee engagement, event management, program coordination, or a related field.
- Proven ability to develop and implement engaging and effective programs.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Experience translating data into impactful narratives that showcase the organization's commitment to employee engagement.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software (e.g., data analysis tools, HRIS).
- Passion for employee engagement and experience in creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
Pay Range: $62,660- $100,000 annually
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
