Senior People Programs Lead

With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.Role SummaryWe’re looking for a strategic, operator-minded Talent Programs leader to join the People team at Replit. This role will report to the Head of People Business Partners & Talent Programs and operate as a senior individual contributor responsible for building, running, and evolving the company’s core talent programs and operating rhythms.This role blends program strategy, operational excellence, and hands-on building. You will drive company-wide talent programs including performance cycles, calibrations, onboarding, manager forums, and enablement initiatives while creating scalable content, frameworks, and processes that improve consistency and execution across the business.The ideal candidate is equally comfortable program managing complex cross-functional initiatives, building lightweight but high-impact systems and content, partnering with PBPs and executives, and leveraging AI and automation to rethink how modern People teams operate. This role is designed for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, operates with high ownership, and is excited about building scalable People infrastructure in an AI-native company.In this role you will…Own and continuously improve the company’s core People operating rhythms and talent programs, including performance cycles, calibrations, manager enablement, onboarding, listening systems and recurring People operating cadences.Drive end-to-end program management for performance and talent cycles, including timelines, milestones, stakeholder coordination, reporting, and operational follow-through.Partner cross-functionally with PBPs, Finance, Recruiting, and business leaders to ensure talent programs are aligned, scalable, and operationally effective.Lead calibration operations and coordination across the company, helping drive consistency, alignment, fairness, and high performance standards.Own and evolve Manager Forum as a core company operating ritual, including roadmap development, agenda setting, recurring themes, leadership enablement, and feedback loops into broader People strategy.Build scalable manager enablement materials and program content, including performance review guides, calibration prep materials, compensation conversation talk tracks, onboarding content, promotion and leveling documentation, and internal operating playbooks.Create lightweight but high-impact frameworks, templates, and repeatable processes that improve consistency, execution, and manager effectiveness across the organization.Own onboarding program operations and experience including cohort planning, scheduling, executive coordination, run-of-show management, and continuous program iteration.Gather and analyze feedback from new hires, managers, and stakeholders to continuously improve onboarding and talent program effectiveness.Leverage AI and automation to identify opportunities and improve scalability, speed, quality, and consistency across People workflows, manager support, and operational processes.Build or experiment with internal People tools, automations, agents, and AI-assisted workflows using Replit and other technologies.Identify organizational and operational friction points across the People team and drive improvements that increase efficiency, consistency, and scalability.Required skills and experience:8+ years of experience across Talent Management, Talent Programs, HRBP, People Operations, Organizational Development, or related People functionsExperience running complex, cross-functional talent programs at scaleStrong operator mindset with exceptional program management skillsProven ability to build content, frameworks, and scalable processesStrong written communication and executive-facing communication skillsAbility to influence without authority and work effectively across senior stakeholdersHigh ownership and bias toward actionExcitement around AI, automation, and rethinking how People teams operateComfort operating in fast-moving, high-growth environments with ambiguityStrong systems thinking and continuous improvement mindsetNice to have:Experience building workflows, automations, or lightweight internal toolsFamiliarity with compensation cycles, calibration processes, and manager enablementExperience using AI tools to improve operational efficiency or employee experienceTools + Tech Stack for this role:HRIS / People Systems: Rippling, WorkdayPerformance & Feedback, Listening Systems: LatticeCollaboration & Communication: Slack, Google Workspace, Notion, Zoom.This role may not be a fit ifYou prefer highly established processes, deep specialization, or a slow-paced environment.You are uncomfortable switching between strategic planning and hands-on execution.You prefer to manage programs through heavy documentation rather than lightweight, iterative processes.You hesitate to push back, coach directly, or hold senior leaders accountable.You rely on large People teams—this role builds the function while operating it.This is a full-time role that can be held from our Foster City, CA office.
