Service Director
Quince is a Three Michelin Star and Michelin Green Star restaurant serving California contemporary cuisine grounded by Italian culinary principles and Chef Michael Tusk’s lifelong respect for seasonality, terroir and artisanal producers, highlighting produce from the restaurant’s farm in West Marin. The restaurant’s daily menus are fiercely seasonal, with the ingredients informing and inspiring all creations from the culinary team

The Quince Service Director oversees the restaurant floor and ensures the flow and ease of service. This position is a leader and mentor for the all FOH staff. Duties include but are not limitied to:- Supervision of FOH staff, guiding and mentoring as needed
- Oversight of guest reservations
- Working with host team to ensure proper pacing of seatings and order placement
- Directing areas of focus to the service team and coordinating breaks
- Assisting service team when necessary
- Check-ins with all guests and oversight of guest feedback
POSITION REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
- At least 2-3 years’ experience as a successful manager
- Previous fine dining restaurant experience required
- Michelin experience prefered
- Knowledge and previous experience with Italian food and wine highly preferred
- Strong communication skills and advanced computer and POS literacy
- Extensive experience training staff
