Staff Accountant
Consumer services organization located south of downtown Los Angeles is looking for a Staff Accountant on a contract-to-hire basis. In this position, the Staff Accountant will assist with handling the day to day accounting functions for the company. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for accounts payable (A/P - vendor reconciliations, invoice matching, etc.), journal entry preparation, and processing payments. The Staff Accountant will also assist with accounts receivable (A/R) duties, bank reconciliations, assisting with month-end, filing corporate returns, and ad hoc projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline is required.
- At least 2-3 years of accounting experience - including reconciliation, journal entries, accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R).
- Good communication skills are required.
- Strong ERP and MS Office (Word and Excel) skills.
- Up to $34/hr.
