Job Summary:

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for building relationships with referral sources, healthcare professionals, and potential clients.

Marketing/Networking Specialist responsibilities include:

• Maintains calendars and databases on marketing programs inclusive of prospects, advertising, referrals, mail campaigns, lists, and home care and home shows.


• Ensure periodic marketing communications, including the distribution of marketing materials.


• Develop business relationship referrals in the community.


• Perform initial evaluation assessments of services for potential clients.


• Assists Care Coordinator by effectively and timely communicating the client's needs.


• Reports changes in client condition to agency employees involved in the client’s care.


• Participates in the quality assurance reviews and evaluations of the agency’s services.


• Understands and adheres to established FirstLight policies and procedures.


• All other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:

• H.S. Diploma or GED, college preferred.


• Knowledge of Home Care Business basics.


• Previous networking experience and sales experience preferred.


• Community involvement.


• Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel, Calendar, and Scheduling programs.


• Experience with the Senior Care community such as long-term care, assisted living, hospice, or home care is beneficial.


• Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly.


• Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
