Technical Consultant- ArcGIS
In this position, you will work closely with customers to help define geospatial-centric solutions and implementation of those solutions. You will solve complex geospatial problems by evaluating and translating the customer's business goals, objectives, and strategies.
The contributions you make will support our Defense and Intel customers across many industries. The work you do will enable customers to make meaningful decisions by leveraging location intelligence.

Esri has a Relocation Assistance Program and can provide support with relocating to the Redlands, CA area for this position.
Responsibilities- Work closely with customers and partners to identify, design, and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform
- Provide platform configuration guidance and best practices to customers regarding innovative solutions using Esri technology and content to help them make better decisions
- Identify the value of location within customer workflows and drive substantial return on their investment in Esri's enterprise platform and services
- Recommend relevant strategies, architectures, and solutions and work with customers to prepare implementation and migration strategies
- Present complex GIS technical demonstrations to various levels of staff in a diverse range of customer organizations
- Collaborate with customer IT organizations to align their technical objectives and business goals with Esri's technology enterprise
- 5+ years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilities
- Professional experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions/systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform (Desktop, Server, and Online)
- Proven experience leveraging Esri's software capabilities including mapping, field operations, spatial analysis and data science, 3D visualization and analytics, data management, and developer APIs
- Pro-actively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to address critical business challenges faced by customers, specifically in the Intelligence domain
- Proven experience with GIS workflow automation patterns
- Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas, whether to other technical peers or non-technical peers, project managers, and/or customers
- Exceptional interpersonal, written/verbal communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skills
- US citizenship with Active or Current (within 2 years of active) Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related field
- Master's degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related field
- Programming and scripting experience with Python
- Domain experience around Defense and Intelligence content workflows
- CompTIA Security + certification
- Experience with current technology implementation patterns, including service-oriented and cloud computing architecture
- Understanding of IT integration concepts such as databases, web services, webhooks, mobile devices configurations, web browsers, IT system architecture concepts

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is
$84,240-$142,480 USD
