Manhattan WMOS Developer

We are seeking an experienced WMOS Developer for an onsite contract position based in San Ramon, California . This role will focus on supporting and enhancing our Manhattan WMOS (Warehouse Management Open Systems) platform. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise and a proven track record working in fast-paced warehouse and supply chain environments.

Relocation is permitted at the candidates own expense.

• Design, develop, and deploy technical enhancements and new features within the Manhattan WMOS platform.

• Provide hands-on production support, including root cause analysis and issue resolution.

• Collaborate with QA, operations, and other IT teams to ensure quality and alignment across deliverables.

• Maintain backend programs to support warehouse operations and workflows.

• Conduct unit, system, and integration testing.

• Document code, configurations, and development efforts following best practices.

• Work independently in an onsite, Agile development environment.

• 10 to 12 years of overall development experience.

• Strong skills in Java , Python , or similar object-oriented programming languages.

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and SQL .

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Proficient with Postman for API testing.

• Direct experience with Manhattan WMOS (configuration, development, or support).

• Familiarity with Progress OpenEdge ABL/4GL , OpenEdge RDBMS , and AppServer.

• Exposure to front-end technologies such as HTML5 , CSS3 , and JavaScript .

• 100% Onsite in San Ramon, CA (Bay Area) remote/hybrid is not available.

• Relocation is allowed but must be handled at the candidates own expense .

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. no sponsorship provided .
