Job Description

A technology company is seeking a GenAI Developer to design and deploy AI-powered workflows in real-world production environments. The ideal candidate has strong Python backend experience and hands-on expertise building GenAI solutions such as chatbots, RAG pipelines, and agent-based systems using enterprise LLMs. This role partners closely with engineering and product teams to bring GenAI capabilities into business-critical applications. 3-4 days a week onsite in Palo Alto, CA.

• Build and maintain backend services using Python for business applications

• Develop and integrate GenAI capabilities into production applications

• Work with LLMs (GPT, Google Gemini) within real-world workflows

• Design and implement agent-based solutions to solve complex problems

• Collaborate closely with a ~30-person team across engineering and product

• Communicate technical decisions clearly to teammates and stakeholders

Skills and Requirements

• Strong backend Python development experience (PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy, etc.)

• 7 years of total experience

• Experience designing GenAI-powered workflows end-to-end

• Experience building and deploying GenAI-powered applications in real-world environments

• Hands-on experience with LLMs from enterprise providers (e.g., OpenAI, Google)

• Experience implementing:

? Chatbots

? RAG pipelines

? Agent-based systems (primary focus)

• Experience designing end-to-end GenAI workflows, from input to output

• Familiarity with machine learning concepts, including training and fine-tuning models

• Cloud development experience supporting AI-driven applications - Proven experience building complex business logic in Python

• Azure cloud experience

• Comfortable in a startup culture

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
