Farm Heavy/Equipment Mechanic

We are hiring a Farm Equipment Mechanic in Bakersfield, CA to support a well-established and respected agricultural operation. This role focuses on repairing tractors, implements, and farm machinery to keep daily operations running efficiently.

Qualifications
1–2 years of experience as a farm equipment mechanic, ag mechanic, or heavy equipment technician
Experience repairing and maintaining tractors, implements, and agricultural machinery
Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and equipment diagnostics
Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment independently
Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and shop safety standards
Comfortable working in an outdoor, fast-paced agricultural environment
Strong reliability, work ethic, and attention to detail
Basic recordkeeping or work order documentation skills preferred
