Litigation Secretary - Labor & Employment
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Secretary to join a respected defense-side labor and employment firm in a hybrid environment supporting a team of four attorneys. This Litigation Secretary role is ideal for a highly organized professional with strong litigation experience who thrives in a fast-paced legal setting and understands the critical importance of precision and discretion. While the firm has traditionally focused on hiring career secretaries, they are open to considering candidates with paralegal backgrounds provided there is a clear understanding that this is a long-term Litigation Secretary position. The ideal Litigation Secretary will bring recent, hands-on experience with calendaring and court filings, and will play a pivotal role in keeping matters on track and compliant. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Litigation Secretary seeking stability, collaboration, and a hybrid schedule within a dynamic litigation practice.
Key Highlights:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Litigation Secretary required
- Strong litigation background is a must (open to various practice areas if litigation experience is present)
- Recent experience with calendaring (Compulaw preferred) is essential
- Proven ability to handle state and federal court filings
- Hybrid schedule offering flexibility
- Supports a team of 4 attorneys in a defense labor & employment environment
- Open to paralegal candidates who are committed to a long-term Litigation Secretary career track
