Equipment Planning Co-op
- Support equipment planning activities across multiple production stages
- Assist in tracking project timelines, deliverables, and equipment readiness for installation and commissioning.
- Assist preparing summary reports, presentations, and status updates for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, logistics, and automation.
- Learn and apply industry standards and internal procedures related to equipment and process planning.
- Collect and organize planning level data for capacity analysis.
- Perform capacity and throughput calculations.
- Build high-level models using simulation software.
- Run basic scenario analyses (e.g. changes in cycle time, OEE, buffer sizes).
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Interest in advanced manufacturing, industrial engineering, or production planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with data analysis tools is an asset.
- Basic understanding of technical drawings, process flows, or equipment layouts (CAD exposure is a plus).
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams and communicate clearly.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and documentation standards.
- Self‑driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving project environment.
- Preferred Qualifications in Battery Cell Research or Internship.
- Familiarity with simulation tools is an asset.
- Attractive Remuneration: The expected hourly wage for this position is $27/ hour.
