Software Engineer, New Grad, San Francisco
Profound is on a mission to help companies understand and control their AI presence. As a Software Engineer, you will architect and build high-performance applications that power AI-driven insights. You will work across the stack, from crafting sleek front-end experiences to optimizing back-end infrastructure, ensuring speed, scalability, and impact.
What you’ll do
Build and ship full-stack applications that help companies analyze and control their AI presence
Develop and refine high-quality front-end interfaces using React and TypeScript
Design and optimize back-end systems for performance, security, and scalability
Work closely with design and product to translate ideas into production-ready experiences
Own key technical decisions, ensuring maintainability and long-term impact
Who you are
A strong portfolio or GitHub showcasing full-stack development expertise, with proficiency in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and modern front-end and back-end frameworks
Experience designing and working with scalable databases and APIs
Deep understanding of performance optimization, security, and best practices
Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-performance startup environment
Location
This is an on-site role based in our SoMa, SF office, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact.
For this role, the expected base salary range is $140,000 to $170,000. Profound’s total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will be determined during the interview process.
