Overview
TalentFish is casting a line for a Software Developer ! This is a W-2 contract opportunity supporting a fast-paced and innovative development environment.

This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys solving abstract problems, building scalable solutions, and owning projects from concept to completion. The Software Developer will contribute to both frontend and backend development while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain modern applications.

What You Bring
Experience thinking critically about complex or abstract problems and delivering effective technical solutions
Ability to break down projects into milestones and tasks and drive work through to completion
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience working within software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
Experience with code reviews, branch management, and resolving merge conflicts
Experience with ElectronJS
Strong understanding of modern web development frameworks and full-stack technologies

What You Will Do (Skills Used in This Position)
Frontend Development
Build and maintain modern web interfaces using:

HTML

CSS

JavaScript / TypeScript
Utilize CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS
Develop applications using React.js or similar frontend libraries
Work with UI component frameworks such as Ant Design (antd) and shadcn
Implement and maintain global state management using tools such as:
Redux
React Context API

Backend Development
Develop server-side functionality using technologies such as:

Node.js

Python
Build and maintain RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Express.js
Design, develop, and manage SQL and NoSQL databases , including:
SQLite
MySQL
MongoDB

Compensation Information
The expected salary range for this position is $45 - $60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity. The salary range provided is in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
