### **What You'll Do:**
- Manage and oversee transportation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
- Lead the development of project proposals and presentations, showcasing technical solutions and project strategies.
- Guide and mentor junior staff, providing oversight on design development, technical plans, and project execution.
- Conduct and review roadway, intersection, and traffic design, ensuring compliance with engineering best practices and local regulations.
- Analyze design options and provide recommendations to develop practical, cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Review construction plans, cost estimates, and design calculations to ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
- Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures for construction plans, specifications, and estimates.

### **What We're Looking For:**
- **Education & Experience:** Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a strong foundation in civil and traffic engineering principles.
- **Licensing:** Professional Engineer (PE) license in California.
- **Industry Experience:** 10+ years of experience in transportation engineering, project management, roadway design, and staff supervision.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Bluebeam Software (preferred).
- **Regulatory Knowledge:** Familiarity with Caltrans Standard Plans & Specifications, APWA Greenbook, Caltrans Highway Design Manual, California MUTCD, and municipal design standards.
- **Communication Skills:** Strong written and verbal communication abilities for client interactions, team collaboration, and report development.
