For this role particularly, we are looking for a software engineer with deep experience in LLM fine-tuning, RAG systems, and AI automations.

About the role

This role will work closely with the founding team. The nature of the work will evolve rapidly in the fast-moving environment but will involve:

• Backend software engineering & infrastructure engineering to support the AI and agentic flows

• RAG/data ingestion pipelines

• Prompt engineering

• Model performance and evals

Our interview process

• Culture interview (30-min video call)

  • We’re looking to learn about you, your skills and experience, and your motivation to join our team.

• Technical interview (take-home, 1 week to complete, 2 hours total)

  • No LeetCode! Real-world problem solving in our coding environment. We try and make it fun.

• Debugging interview (1-hour live w/ one of our engineers)

  • 4 bugs. 1 hour. Are you up to the test?

• Founder interview (1-hour)

  • Meet with Han or Hahnbee! AMA at the end.

• On-Site (half-day)

  • A technical round

  • Lunch - get to know the team

  • Behavioral round

  • Spec assessment - we present you with a problem and ask you to write up a solution for it (no code)
