Hey! We’re Open Ledger, a scrappy FinTech startup building smarter tools for how businesses wrangle their financial data. Think: bank accounts, invoices, ledgers—all in one sleek, unified dashboard.

Before we launch, we want real accountants in the room to tell us where we’ve nailed it… and where we’ve totally missed the mark.

That’s where you come in!

👀 What’s the Gig?

We’re looking for an Accountant or Bookkeeper to swing by our SF workspace for 4 hours to poke around in our product, test some flows, and give us unfiltered feedback.

We’ll pay you $200 for your time—and probably offer you coffee or a Topo Chico while you’re at it.

🛠 What You’ll Actually Do:

• Test our product like you’d use it IRL (journal entries, reconciling, generating reports).

• Flag anything clunky, confusing, or “ugh, no accountant would ever do it that way.”

• Share quick ideas on how we could make it cleaner, easier, or more powerful.

• Bonus points if you help us name a button or two 😄
  

✅ You Might Be a Fit If You:

• Have experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or FP&A (CPA = cool but not required).

• Know your way around tools like FreshBooks, Plaid, or QuickBooks.

• Love spotting inefficiencies and making things work better.

• Can drop by our SF spot for a half-day session and chat with our (very nice) team.
