Social Media & Content Manager
Westside Build is a Santa Monica–based design and construction company focused on rebuilding homes in the Pacific Palisades following the devastating wildfire. Our firm brings architecture, design, and construction together under one roof, with a strong emphasis on technology, speed, and quality. We are building with fully integrated 3D digital twins, highly coordinated project delivery, and innovative construction methods to create better homes more efficiently.

As our Social Media & Content Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand presence and storytelling across digital platforms, connecting our mission with homeowners and the broader community.
Key responsibilities include:- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and other emerging platforms
- Create, produce, and schedule daily content — including job-site photography, video walkthroughs, design reveals, time-lapses, and behind-the-scenes storytelling
- Collaborate closely with our architecture, design, and construction teams to translate technical milestones into engaging, accessible narratives
- Manage and grow our community of followers, responding to comments, DMs, and mentions with a consistent, on-brand voice
- Build and maintain an editorial content calendar aligned with project milestones, company announcements, and industry moments
- Track and report on performance analytics (reach, engagement, follower growth, lead attribution) and continuously optimize based on data
- Identify and develop relationships with local influencers, media outlets, and brand partners relevant to construction, architecture, and home design
- Support recruiting and employer brand efforts by showcasing our team, culture, and innovative approach to building
- Stay ahead of social media trends, platform algorithm changes, and best practices in the construction and real estate space
- Oversee paid social campaigns in coordination with any external marketing or agency partners
- Collaborate with business development and project stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and approval workflows
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 3–7 years of social media management experience
- 2+ years of social media or marketing experience within the construction industry
- Hands-on experience managing brand social accounts on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, CapCut, Canva, and Final Cut Pro
- Experience managing paid social ads alongside organic content
- Ability to produce weekly social media KPI and performance reports
- Experience working with content approval workflows and collaborating with business development stakeholders
- Existing network within LA's architecture, design, or real estate communities
- English proficiency and authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications
- Familiarity with 3D rendering, digital twins, or construction tech (Revit, BIM workflows, etc.)
- Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Photography skills with a quality camera setup (DSLR or mirrorless)
Benefits
Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 depending on experience
