Receptionist for Tax Practice

RECEPTIONIST FOR TAX PRACTICE We are a tax practice seeking a friendly and organized receptionist to manage the front desk and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.

About Us:

We are an expanding practice with a large client base, looking to add to our dedicated tax team. We are located in the Trillium Towers near the Warner Center, with a private park, abundant outdoor seating, and plenty of covered parking. We are also conveniently close to Westfield Topanga, The Village, and other great shopping and dining locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls and distribute messages
• Ensure office area is clean and presentable
• Update calendars and schedule appointments
• Call clients to confirm or reschedule appointments
• Log and organize client data
• Scan and prepare client documents for the staff
• Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, emailing and faxing
• Prepare and send client organizers
• Assemble completed tax returns

Knowledge and Skills

• 2 or more years of experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Assertive and proactive in dealing with conflicts and problem resolution
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel in particular)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Excellent organizational skills
• Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• The propensity to learn basic tax returns, data inputting, and gathering necessary documents

Education:

• High School diploma required. Associate's Degree or equivalent experience is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

• $18-$20/HR DOE

Paid vacation days, sick days, and holidays, as well as additional paid days off after the peak season

• Parking Pass included

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 9 AM -6 PM. Some weekends during peak season, O/T pay included

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
