We are an established, (since 1956), San Francisco CPA Company, in San Francisco’s Financial District, conveniently located near public transit bus routes, ferries, and Bart.

We are an established boutique CPA firm conveniently located in San Francisco’s Financial District, near Muni/Golden Gate bus routes, ferries, and Bart.

We are interviewing for a full time Senior Tax Associate and Tax Associate or Staff Accountant.

This is an in office, in person position. Flexible workdays/schedule regarding day and hours available. Remote work is currently not a company standard, but will be considered for deserving team member(s).

We offer our clients a wide range of services from income tax preparation, (forms 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120-S, 1041, 990PF), advisory, non-assurance services, non-attest reporting, accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and compliance tax reporting.

Senior Tax Associate

With 4+ years of prior experience and at least qualifications of Tax Associate description below-

Prepare federal, state, and an occasional multi-state tax returns

Tax research on demand, as needed, research relevant newly legislated tax laws, identify planning opportunities impactful to our client base.

Client engagement includes migrating direct communication with our clients to team, and may include gathering financial data, advisory of tax implications, assist in drafting responses to IRS and state tax authority inquiries, planning, forecasting, strategizing, calculating quarterly tax estimates, and strategies for high-net-worth individuals and business entities.

Tax Associate / Staff Accountant

With 2+ years of prior experience.
EA/ CPA or CTEC qualified.
Experience with Pro FX tax series, QuickBooks, QBO and or Sage Payroll,
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word) and Adobe Acrobat.
Good communication skills, written and verbal

Self- management of time skills

BS/BA in accounting degree

Team members with our company would be engaged in:

Prepare business, individual, trust, income tax returns

Prepare Estate and gift returns

Prepare tax forecasts

Non-assurance services – periodic compilation financials

Non-attest services – periodic preparation financials

Accounting and bookkeeping

Research, analysis, and conclusion advisory

Manage client projects start to finish

Senior responsible for firm wide tax awareness update(s).
