Sr. Associate, Construction Project Manager
- Co-manage assigned EV charging construction projects under the supervision of a senior construction project manager, taking ownership of specific project workstreams from preconstruction through commissioning.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestone trackers, and status reports; flag variances and risks proactively to the supervising project manager.
- Support change order tracking and documentation; assist with evaluation of scope change impacts on cost and schedule under senior guidance.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, observe quality of work, and support punch walk documentation.
- Maintain complete project documentation including permits, contracts, inspection records, as-builts, and grant-related files.
- Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams on assigned project tasks, including Site Development, Development Engineering, Supply Chain, and Asset Management.
- Communicate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors on day-to-day project coordination; track submittals, RFIs, and deliverable status with direction from senior construction managers.
- Support utility and AHJ coordination, tracking interconnection milestones and permitting conditions; escalate delays or issues appropriately.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and notes; track and follow up on action items with project stakeholders.
- Identify and track project risks and open issues; maintain risk logs and escalate emerging concerns to the supervising project manager with recommended mitigation steps.
- Observe and support enforcement of safety standards and OSHA compliance on project sites; report site safety observations accurately.
- Maintain public funding documentation in accordance with NEVI, DOE, or state grant program requirements.
- Contribute to team process improvement by identifying documentation and workflow gaps and suggesting solutions.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned to support team and organizational objectives.
- Combination of education and hands-on experience in lieu of a formal degree.
- 2–4 years of experience in construction project coordination or management, with exposure to the full project delivery lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and project workstreams with growing independence in a construction or infrastructure environment.
- Working knowledge of construction scheduling, permitting processes, and contractor coordination.
- Proficiency in project management tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, or equivalent); experience with Salesforce or Sitetracker a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to coordinate effectively across internal teams and external partners.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in EV charging, electrical, civil, or distributed infrastructure construction.
- CAPM or PMP certification in progress or completed.
- Ability to travel to project sites regularly; estimated 15–25% travel.

- Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
