Associate engineer

We're looking for a curious, motivated Associate AI Engineer to join our team and help build the next

generation of intelligent talent technology. This is a hands-on opportunity to apply your AI and machine

learning skills in a real-world enterprise SaaS environment. You'll work alongside experienced engineers

to develop and deploy AI tools-including large language models, recommendation systems, and other

intelligent features-that make work more personal and efficient.

This is a 6 month fixed term role.

In this role, you will...

• Contribute to the design, development, and testing of AI-driven features within the Cornerstoneecosystem

• Collaborate with engineers on projects involving NLP, recommendation systems, or generative AI

• Collect, clean, and prepare datasets for training and evaluation, including data QA and validation

• Build and experiment with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and/or Hugging Face

• Write clean, well-documented Python code and actively participate in code reviews

• Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, and prototypingworkflows

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to team discussions, demos, and retrospectives

• Research and prototype new ideas in the AI/ML space, including proofs of concept and resultsevaluation

• Stay current-identify new AI tools, libraries, or approaches that could enhance our platform

You've got what it takes if you have...

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practicalexperience)

• Foundational knowledge of machine learning concepts and proficiency in Python programming

• Experience with one or more AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn

• Solid understanding of or strong interest in LLMs, generative AI, and/or recommender systems

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

An extra dose of awesome if...

• Knowledge of Java and/or JavaScript with React, especially for building user-facing AI features

• Experience with AWS or containerization tools such as Docker
