Accounts Receivable Manager

Location: Beverly Hills, CA (Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite)

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 (Flexibility for the right candidate)

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager with a strong background in client billbacks within a professional services environment. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing the full AR cycle while managing a small team in a fast-paced, high-growth organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full Accounts Receivable cycle, including billing, collections, cash application, and account reconciliations.
• Oversee complex client billbacks, chargebacks, reimbursable expenses, markups, credit memos, and revenue allocations.
• Lead and develop a team of Accounts Receivable professionals while remaining actively involved in day-to-day operations.
• Review aging reports and implement collection strategies to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding balances.
• Partner with client services and internal stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate invoicing.
• Monitor AR metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Support month-end close, reporting, and audit requests.

Qualifications

• 7 years of progressive Accounts Receivable experience.
• Prior leadership or management experience.
• Extensive experience with client billbacks in a professional services environment such as public relations, advertising, marketing, consulting, media, legal, or similar industries.
• Strong understanding of full-cycle Accounts Receivable, including complex invoicing and collections.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• QuickBooks and/or NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
