Achievement House, Inc. is a nonprofit organization who promote independence and inclusion for individuals with developmental disabilities.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Grounds Crew Services Job Coach to guide our individuals towards their vocational goals. This role involves providing instruction and support in janitorial and grounds keeping duties, ensuring that all projects meet or exceed the expectations of our various sites. We offer a competitive compensation package, including a $250 sign-on bonus! This is a "roving" position, with variable work schedule as needed, from 30-40 hours per week from Lompoc to Santa Maria.

Compensation: $23.50-25.50 / Hour DOE
This is a full-time position with varying hours.

Qualifications:

• Must have a reliable personal vehicle to commute to and from work, and maintain a current California driver’s license.
• Must have an acceptable driving record.
• Must pass a LiveScan by DOJ/FBI.
• Must provide a copy of your auto insurance.
• Previous experience working with Individuals with Developmental Disabilities is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Must have basic computer/technology skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous instructions specific to vocational growth and training objectives.
• Manage a team of custodial trainees, providing guidance, support, and training.
• Ensure the quality of work completed with each job and deliver excellent customer service to stakeholders and contract representatives.
• Ensure the team has necessary supplies, track jobs, document work performed, and maintain company vehicle.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork by the deadline.
• Basic computer/technology skills and knowledge
