You will play a critical role in delivering flawless real-time communication services to our customers by working closely with our awesome engineering team!

Essential Functions:

• Design, develop and maintain new services and APIs used by our clients
• Liaise with product development efforts to ensure continuity of back-end with client needs
• Scaling our systems for rapid growth
• Roadmap planning, release management, coordination between management and existing backend team
• Management of junior team members

The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:

• Django experience required!
• Python
  
• REST
• Test-driven development experience
• Databases: MySQL, Cassandra, Memcache, Redis, AWS, cloud infrastructure & APIs
• Ability to successfully execute in a small team environment
• Management capabilities
