React Developer, App Studio Solutions
- Assist clients in building and customizing apps using Tapcart App Studio.
- Troubleshoot issues with Custom Blocks and provide timely, effective support.
- Use platform knowledge to resolve issues and ensure smooth development.
- Understand client needs and offer expert advice on Custom Block customization
- Align app designs with Tapcart's capabilities and client goals.
- Build and customize Custom Blocks and React.js apps to meet specific needs.
- Enhance app functionality and user experience.
- Mentor engineers on clean coding practices for merchant apps.
- Work closely with Tapcart’s engineering team to deliver Custom Blocks.
- Report bugs and contribute to platform enhancements.
- Keep up with trends in mobile app development and React.js.
- Leverage ongoing learning to deliver cutting-edge support to clients.
- Build strong relationships with merchants and partners.
- Promote collaboration and continuous improvement of Tapcart tools.
- Frontend/ UI Development Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in UI or frontend development, with strong proficiency in React, React Native, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, in eCommerce or SaaS
- JavaScript & Frameworks: Proficient in client-side scripting and experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, as well as modern frameworks like Vue.js and React.
- Shopify Development: Hands-on experience with Shopify platform development, including building headless Shopify websites, Shopify API and ability to create and manage webhooks, address deprecations, and maintain API calls. Familiarity Shopify Flow and ability to create efficient, scalable logic for automation
- Client Collaboration: Skilled at working directly with clients to understand project goals, translate briefs into actionable tasks, present work, and incorporate feedback into final deliverables.
- Agile & Sprint Execution: Proven ability to take ownership of sprint tasks and effectively contribute to team velocity. Comfortable using GitHub, Figma, and Asana in a collaborative development environment.
- Debugging & Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly with the DOM and browser behavior.
- Basic Image Editing: Capable of making basic edits to images such as cropping, resizing, and format adjustments.
- Database Knowledge: Understanding of databases such as MySQL.
- Experience in building developer tools or SDKs
- Prior work with merchant/partner ecosystems
- GraphQL: Experience working with GraphQL in either client-side or server-side applications and Shopify Storefront/Admin APIs
- Professional Services Experience: Background in agencies or consulting firms, with exposure to managing complex web projects.
- Design Tools: Familiar with design tools like Figma.
