Technical Customer Advisor
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers within assigned branch territories.
- Coordinate all aspects of the customer service cycle across internal teams to ensure a seamless experience.
- Communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external customers regarding service requests and technical issues.
- Analyze, plan, and facilitate resolutions for customer service and technical challenges.
- Create new Waste Information Profiles (WIPs) in compliance with RCRA &; DOT regulations.
- Manage waste approval processes with internal teams and third-party TSDFs, ensuring cost-effective, compliant solutions.
- Generate jobs and detailed work orders to support accurate execution of services by operations teams.
- Oversee post-shipment processes, verify WIPs and approvals, and resolve discrepancies affecting TSDF acceptance and invoicing.
- Collaborate with team members on incoming customer requests, including new service quotes and billing support.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Customer Excellence Manager.
Skills:
- Strong customer relationship and account management skills.
- Ability to provide efficient, simple, and compliant solutions.
- Technical knowledge of waste management and disposal processes preferred.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Highly organized and structured; able to follow standard processes.
- Collaborative team player across multiple functions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma required; additional certifications or technical training preferred.
- Experience in customer service, technical support, or waste management preferred.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance (RCRA &; DOT) is a plus.
