Well-established General Contractor seeking experienced carpenters to join the team. We are seeking candidates who work well in a team environment, can prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.

For almost 20 years, Equity Builders, Inc has been serving San Diego as a full service Design/Build General Contracting Company, specializing in commercial tenant improvement projects finding our stride in restaurants and bars, along with high-end residential custom homes, renovations and additions.

Experienced Carpenter:

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in the construction industry
• Excellent note taking skills a MUST
• Proficiency reading construction drawings, specs, and blueprints, etc. would be a bonus

• Framing Experience - Exposed finish framing

• Door installation inclusive of pre-hung as well as cut-in book doors
• Window installation with knowledge of proper flashing
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Detail oriented, logical, and methodical approach to problem solving.
• Able to respond to changing priorities while continuing to maintain attention to detail.
• General construction knowledge beyond just carpentry.
• Commitment to performing job with safety in mind.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States (proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment).
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

**Must pass a pre-hire physical exam and drug screening once an offer is made.

Compensation: $28 - $39/hr. DOE
