About the Role:

Software Engineers at Heliux are high-agency doers who are directly responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of our core software platform. Responsibilities will include:

• Become a product expert in end-to-end hardware engineering and manufacturing operations through direct, hands-on engagement with customers.

• Rapidly develop high-quality software that exceeds customer expectations, contributing to both front-end and (primarily) back-end code.

• Partner with key team members across Design, Engineering, and Business Development to advise on early, critical product and infrastructure decisions.

• Solve any and all problems that stem from being a scrappy, early-stage startup (i.e., wear many hats).

What We Require:

• 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience.

• Demonstrated proficiency coding in programming languages such as Python, Rust, Java, TypeScript, or similar.

• Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

• Innate desire to operate with extreme levels of urgency across all aspects of work.

• Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English.
