Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing software solutions that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our research and development processes. This is a part-time position, with a commitment of 20 hours per week, based in our California office.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop software solutions to meet those needs

- Design and develop software applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing software applications

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate them into our software development processes

- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure the quality and accuracy of software applications

- Document software development processes and maintain documentation for future reference

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality

- Continuously improve software development processes to increase efficiency and productivity

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

- Minimum of 1 years of experience in software development

- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++

- Experience with database management and SQL

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus
