Estimator - Commercial Construction

Webuild ( ) is seeking an Construction Estimator to oversee commercial preconstruction activities for one of the region’s leading construction organizations with a 40 year old history of award winning, real estate development.

The ideal individual would have 7+ years of experience working as an estimator / project manager with at least 5+ years of experience in an estimating capacity. Must have the abilities to perform all related estimating activities; review all contracts/bids, conduct walk-thrus, perform quantity take-offs, determine value-engineering, establish conceptual estimates, develop full scopes of work, budgets and interact with clients to achieve commercial construction project awards with scopes of work from $5 to 50M.

Requires the abilities to work in conjunction with the senior leadership team, business development and construction management personnel throughout the firm to foster existing client relationships, development new business for projects ranging from tenant improvements to new construction for commercial, hospitality, institutional, healthcare and/or multifamily construction throughout the Sacramento, California region.

Requires a Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related discipline. Certification as a Professional Estimator (CPE) desired. Must have excellent written, verbal communication and software abilities.
