Stockroom Clerk
Description
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6AM – 4:30PM (4/10 schedule – Fridays off)
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 DOE
• Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, order (kit) pulling, counting of material, sorting,
picking, and stocking.
• Verify computations against physical count of stock (cycle count program).
• Maintains condition of work areas.
• Ability to receive inbound material required.
• Basic computer to enter information into database.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Familiar with electronic component(s) part numbers, specifically manufacturer part numbers.
Nature and Scope
• Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices or instruction.
• Under close supervision, exercises independent judgment. Involves detailed checks or close
review of output by manager, department lead, as well as fellow employees.
Work Environment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., ability to stand for a period (up to 60 minutes), ability to
make repetitive movements including, but not limited to, 10-key or calculator, bending, and
prolonged packaging of material for shipments.
Education and Experience
• A HS diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in related industry and component knowledge desired.
• Ability to communicate in English.
Preferred Qualifications
Background including employment with a company that maintained in-house stock of electronic
components to facilitate quick-turn printed circuit board assemblies.
