Dell Driving Technician/Field Service Technician
Contract position offering field support for Dell products in the San Francisco area and beyond.
- Job Title: Desktop Support/Field Service Technician/Computer Driving Technician
- Location: San Francisco, CA (and other U.S. locations)
- Job Type: Long‑term Contract / Contract to Permanent
Job Role / Duties
- Travel to customer sites from the designated pickup location as specified.
- Visit business offices and residences to repair, troubleshoot, and perform break‑fix on computers, desktops, laptops, and printers.
- Use your own vehicle for field service; drive approximately 300 miles per week within a 50‑70 mile radius of the pickup point.
- Represent the company professionally in communication and appearance.
- Be available for overtime and extended driving as required.
- Primarily service Dell products; prior experience is a plus.
Required Skills
- A+ Certification (training or expired status accepted)
- Experience with Dell or other manufacturer certifications is a plus
- Strong experience working on laptops and desktops
- Proficiency in break/fix repair
Important Points
- Background check and driving record required upon offer.
- Completion of Dell certification training (online) is required; training is provided free of charge.
- Contract agreement terms and conditions apply.
- Pay will be issued biweekly based on approved hours.
- Mileage will be reimbursed (contact recruiter for details).
- Maintain a backup vehicle in case of breakdown.
