Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing the financial activity of assigned Prime Healthcare facilities. Oversees the daily operations and responsibilities of the accountants. Ensures accurate and complete monthly balance sheet reconciliation. Reviews and prepares monthly financial statement packets for review by the Controller and executive team. Maintains complete and accurate records of all financial transactions.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
2. One year of management experience
3. Three or more years of Accounting/Finance experience
4. Working knowledge of windows based personal computers
5. Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and prioritization skills
6. Proficient in business software applications

Preferred qualifications:

1. Two or more years of management experience
2. Meditech, Epic and/or Lawson experience
3. CPA or Master’s Degree

Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $87,360.00 to $121,971.20 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
