Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Lead or contribute to initiatives that enhance processes, products, and services;
• Plan and execute large projects;
• Assess implications and determine appropriate actions with minimal guidance;
• Collaborate with internal platform teams to develop new and improved platform capabilities;
• Prioritize tasks and align work with team goals, adjusting as needed;
• Participate in systems design and review processes;
• Scope, lead, and participate in cross-functional projects;
• Mentor team members and share knowledge to develop the engineering team.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience;
• Strong skills in at least one programming language, with Go preferred;
• Experience designing, developing, operating, and debugging high-traffic production systems;
• Commitment to quality and reliability, ensuring infrastructure performance, uptime, and scalability while maintaining high code standards;
• Motivated to build systems that enhance productivity;
• Curious and eager to understand customer needs;
• Collaborative, thoughtful, and capable of solving challenging problems with peers and customers;
• Value mentorship and knowledge sharing, confident in asking difficult questions, and open to input.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with applications interacting with the Kubernetes API and familiarity with Kubernetes internals;
• Experience with Linux or similar operating systems.
