Responsibilities
- Provide unit-based leadership, working collaboratively with the Nurse Manager, Director, Physicians, and staff.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel using professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
- Ensure that patients on the unit receive cost-effective, professional care that results in positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction while maintaining the highest level of patient safety.
- Assess quality of patient experience and take steps to drive improvement across the unit.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California (or equivalent eligibility) to practice in the assignment locale.
- Availability for 12-hour day shifts, three days per week (36 hours per week).
- Previous unit-based leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and ancillary staff.
- Ability to maintain high standards of patient safety while delivering evidence-based care in a fast-paced setting.
