People Experience (HR) Generalist

We are actively seeking an enthusiastic and positive People Experience Generalist who will assist in maintaining and enhancing BlastX teammate’s experience by helping us scale our people programs and processes. This role is hands-on, working collaboratively with teammates and Leadership across the company to execute People Experience (PX) initiatives ensuring BlastX is a great place to work. This role requires a high degree of responsiveness, initiative, teamwork, attention-to-detail, and strong communication skills.
As part of the PX team, the People Experience Generalist must enjoy working on a wide variety of responsibilities. You will support the development and execution of key PX functions including recruitment, onboarding and engagement. You will contribute in a fast-paced, fluid work environment as well as the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work efficiently. The position reports to the VP, People Experience. The People Experience Generalist will have an to Make Your Mark every day by solving challenges and seeing the positive impact of your work.Primary Responsibilities
Culture, Communication & Engagement (40%)
- Champion the company's core values in everyday moments, programs and rituals so they show up in how teammates work, recognize each other and grow together.
- Develop creative engagement and recognition initiatives, using teammate feedback and data to know what's working.
- Serve as a resource for teammates and leadership, keeping priorities aligned and making sure feedback flows in both directions.
- Plan company events, recognition moments and culture-building activities that bring a remote team together.
- Communicate clearly and consistently across email, Slack and video to keep teammates informed and connected.
- Run learning and development activities through our LMS, helping teammates build skills they need to grow at BlastX.
Talent Acquisition (25%)
- Partner with the VP, People Experience and hiring managers on recruiting strategy, and run the day-to-day sourcing and outreach that brings it to life.
- Run the full recruiting funnel: job postings, sourcing, screening, scheduling, interview coordination and offer creation.
- Pre-screen candidates and present a short list of qualified finalists to hiring managers
- Deliver a candidate experience worth talking about, with timely communication, clear expectations and respectful close-outs at every stage.
- Track and report on recruiting metrics, sharing insights and recommendations with hiring managers and the VP, People Experience.
Teammate Lifecycle & Operations (35%)
- Help ensure the highest level of quality for all project deliverables by coordinating and managing quality assurance checks and review cycles.
- Run day-to-day PX operations, including teammate records, documentations, benefits administration and HRIS data hygiene.
- Own the end-to-end onboarding experience, from offer letter through first 90 days and keep improving it based on new hire feedback.
- Run off-boarding with care, including exit conversations, knowledge transfer, and clean handoff of systems and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with local, state and federal employment laws and internal policies.
- Spot friction in PX workflows and propose fixes, partnering with the VP, People Experience to roll out scalable solutions.
- Administer and maintain PX processes and technology systems.
- Use AI to move faster on the everyday work, like drafting comms, prepping interview materials and keeping our knowledge base current.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of People Experience (HR) experience in a consultancy or professional services organization
- Experience creating and facilitating engagement activities or programs to ensure a positive team experience
- Recruiting experience qualifying the best talent for various roles within the organization
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including the ability to represent the company in a professional manner
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
- Ability to demonstrate competencies of achieving results, teamwork and influence
- Commitment to the company values and attention to honesty and integrity, quality of work and flexibility
- Solid understanding of California employment laws and best practices
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Highly organization with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Product Suite, Slack, Zoom and LinkedIn
- Experience using AI tools to optimize and/or enhance processes
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification
This is a remote opportunity within Pacific or Mountain time zone . Due to the nature of our consulting agency, digital nomads will not be considered.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 USD annually DOE
