Position Overview

Dusty Robotics is an autonomous robotics company with a successfully launched product in the construction market. Its flagship product the FieldPrinter™ is an industry transformative product that automates the layout process for construction projects. The 60+ person team supports a fleet of robots that is deployed on construction sites across North America to increase the quality and predictability of building projects.

Dusty has raised over $69M from top-tier venture capital firms including Scale Venture Partners, Baseline Ventures, Canaan, NextGen Venture Partners, and Root Ventures. Our customers include some of the largest names in the construction industry, including DPR, JE Dunn, and Skanska.

About this role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This position reports to the Controller and is based out of our Mountain View Office, 4 days / week in the office. You will get the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team and collaborative culture in a start-up environment.

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for full cycle accounts payable duties in a timely and accurate manner, ensure vendor invoices are properly authorized for payment.

  • Research invoice and payment discrepancies.

  • Answer inquiries from internal employees and outside vendors regarding accounts payable and related matters.

  • Review employee expense reports in Ramp for proper GL coding and verify attached receipts.
    Verify Ramp integration with NetSuite GL accounting.

  • Manage and reconcile company credit card expenses in Ramp, ensure proper GL coding, attach and verify receipts.

  • Set up and maintain prepaid expense schedule.

  • Fixed Assets schedule maintenance.

  • Support Sales and Use tax compliance, reconciliation and reporting.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing process, prepare month-end accrual and reconciliations.

  • Support year-end inventory process.

  • Prepare and file annual 1099 forms and related report.

  • Accounts Receivable billing and collections as needed.

  • Perform other tasks and duties assigned including account analysis, year-end audit and tax return schedules.

  • Accomplish accounting and organizational mission by accurately and timely completing necessary tasks.

  • Assist with the documentation of policies and procedures. Protect the company stakeholders’ value by keeping information confidential.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or related field

  • 4+ years of professional accounting experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and NetSuite

  • Detail oriented, organized and works with a sense of urgency

  • Proactive, team player and demonstrates ability to maintain confidentiality and trustworthiness

  • Ability to communicate and work well with staff at all levels

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities / duties with enthusiasm

  • Previous experience with Ramp and Bill.com is a plus
