Cyber Store Business Manager

REPORTS TO: Director of Stores
SAFETY SENSITIVE: HIGH – Position is subject to pre-employment physical and, drug & alcohol screening. The starting salary for this position is $72,800 per year. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE JOB : The Cyber Store Business Manager is responsible for all facets of cyber operations including financial performance, personnel management, collections, processing, loss control while ensuring maximum profitability and efficiency and a positive image of GIRE in the community. PROVIDES SUPERVISION TO : Cyber store staff RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Own and drive cyber store revenue performance, ensuring achievement of financial targets and revenue growth
- Utilize data analytics to understand variances and progress of KPIs. Responsible for ensuring that all reporting of sales and production data is delivered timely to the appropriate stakeholders
- Ensure internal and external policies, procedures and standards are met
- Implement and maintain procedures to maximize efficiency in production, sales, customer service and receipt of store donations with a focus on continuous improvement
- Consistently deliver high-quality customer service, resolving all customer issues in a satisfactory and timely manner
- Manage end-to-end processes required for online sales and shipping, including maintaining relationships with external partners and vendors.
- Manage the front-end website experience, category strategy, landing pages, product assortment, pricing, and overall merchandising mix
- Ensure that safety standards are met
- Provide training and effective communication to store management to maximize the quality of donated goods being sent to cyber store
- Maintain a team-oriented environment. Manage cyber team within Goodwill guiding principles
- Create accountability through training and development of all employees on job responsibilities, work habits, and policies and procedures of GIRE.
- Ensure that all department administrative functions are carried out timely and efficiently
- Identify and communicate recommendations to improve user experience, sales conversion, and opportunities for revenue growth.
- Back up any position in the department as needed to accomplish goals.
- Engage in professional development.
- Assume responsibility in an emergency event.
- Actively participate in all trainings and meetings
- Respond to facility needs outside regular business hours (e.g. alarm calls, emergencies, etc.)
- Present yourself and GIRE positively and professionally at all times.
- Exhibit positive leadership resulting in a positive work atmosphere for customers, clients, participants, co-workers, and management.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management
- High School diploma required; post-secondary education with an emphasis in Business preferred.
- 3 years of proven management experience in an increasingly responsible supervisory/management position, management experience in an online sales environment is preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate growth of business and process improvement
- Valid CA Class C Driver’s License and proof of personal auto insurance
- Must have access to a reliable passenger vehicle that supports completion of essential and ancillary functions of the position
- Computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook at proficient level
- Superior organizational and general administrative skills
- Developed leadership skills resulting in strong ability to motivate people, instill accountability and achieve results
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to read, write and speak English clearly and fluently
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Respect of others
- Ability to perform effectively and cooperatively as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with a diverse population
- Excellent attention to detail
- Bilingual, English and Spanish preferred
Promotable to higher level of management with demonstrated mastery of skills, acquisition of relevant trainings, certifications, or experience relevant to the promotable position. All promotions are based on business needs, as positions are available.
