The Opportunity

An Experienced Intake Lead/closer will manage incoming client inquiries, determine case viability, and close new leads within a first-call resolution. This position requires a professional with excellent communication and negotiation skills capable of managing client expectations, addressing concerns, and ensuring the smooth onboarding of new clients. Your work will directly impact the firm’s growth and success, making this role both rewarding and crucial to the firm’s operations.Â

Training & Work Schedule (Includes Holidays & Weekends)

Training Schedule:Â Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 5:30pm (3 weeks)
Shifts Days: Tuesday – Saturday, or Sunday - Thursday.
Shifts:  10:00am-7:00pm, 12:00pm - 9:00pm, 3:00pm - 12:00am, or 11:00pm - 8:00am


Accountable for

  • Client Communication: Utilize excellent telephone communication skills to speak with potential clients, providing professional, clear, and compassionate responses. Handle sensitive calls with care and de-escalate problematic situations while maintaining professionalism and adherence to phone etiquette.Â
  • Lead Conversion: Use exceptional communication and negotiation abilities to close potential clients within the timeframe set by the firm, ensuring that leads are converted into signed clients.Â
  • Screening and Case Evaluation: Screen potential clients to determine if they have a valid case, gathering relevant information and facts about their situation. Assess the viability of each case based on established criteria.Â
  • Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys and management to ensure potential clients meet the firms criteriaÂ
  • Case Viability: Determine the viability of potential cases, ensuring that the firm only pursues strong cases that align with its areas of expertise.Â
  • Selling the Firm’s Capabilities: Highlight the firm’s strengths and capabilities while setting realistic expectations for clients, ensuring they understand its services and how their cases will be handled.Â
  • Intake Specialist Support: Monitor intake calls, provide real-time coaching and feedback to intake specialists during live calls, and step in to take over a call if it appears the client is at risk of being lost.Â


Qualifications

  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in an intake or client relations role, preferably in a law firm or legal environment.Â
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate clear, professional responses and build rapport with clients.Â
  • Negotiation Expertise: Proven ability to close deals and convert leads into clients, working within a specified timeframe.Â
  • Customer Service Orientation: Exceptional client service skills with the ability to de-escalate situations and manage expectations professionally.Â
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed and accurate records.Â
  • Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM software, case management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.Â
  • Results-Driven: Strong goal orientation with the ability to meet and exceed intake targets.
Compensation
  • $30.00 - $43.00 ​​​​​ depending on experience, plus performance-based incentives
