Afternoon Babysitter for Young Children
We are seeking a caring and energetic babysitter to care for our two boys, aged 2 and 5, in Oakland, CA. This role involves engaging the children in fun and educational activities, such as arts and crafts, trips to the lake, playground, or library, while parents conclude work and prepare dinner. You will be needed a few times a week for 2-3 hours in the afternoon, with a flexible schedule but fixed hours around 2-5pm or 3-5pm. Applicants should be comfortable around dogs, as we have a small, shy dog that may bark initially but warms up quickly. No driving, feeding, bathing, or bedtime duties are required. This position starts on June 22, 2026, at 9:30 PM and ends on June 23, 2026, at 12:30 AM. Ideal candidates will have experience with young children and a love for fostering a fun, safe, and nurturing environment.
