Bookkeeper and Account Manager/Admin support

We are currently seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Admin Support to join our team. In this role, you will perform essential tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of our organization.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Accounts Payable:** Input invoices and process vendor payments on a weekly basis.
- **Accounts Receivable:** Generate customer invoices, apply payments, and follow up on collections.
- **Check Deposits:** Manage the deposit of checks.
- **Reconciliation:** Reconcile invoices and resolve billing discrepancies.
- **Credit Card Management:** Handle credit card payments and perform reconciliations.
- **Customer and Vendor Setup:** Set up new customers and vendors in our system.
- **Month-End Close Assistance:** Support the month-end closing process.
- **Process Improvement:** Identify and implement streamlined processes and workflows.
- **Receptionist Duties:** Answer phones, open mail, and assist with filing as needed.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:**

- A minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a similar support role.
- A self-starter with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- A commitment to integrity, honesty, and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to follow procedures, prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of business practices.
- Customer service experience is essential.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to follow up on outstanding tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel; experience with Quantum is a plus.
- An associate degree in accounting, business, or a related field is preferred.

**Work Schedule:**
Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
