Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for timely and accurate review and payment of vendor invoices and employee expense reports. The Specialist will also assist the Accounts Payable team in providing best in class support to attorneys and staff across the firm.
Job Responsibilities
- Review employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance with expense policy and ensure timely reimbursement.
- Review of invoices for accuracy and compliance.
- Perform ad hoc A/P research and analysis.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries.
- Manage vendor and employee reimbursement payment schedules.
- Reconcile vendor statements and follow up with vendors.
- Assist with month end close, financial reporting, and audits.
- Process upload files and resolve errors.
- Collaborate on cross functional projects, working closely with various departments to drive business initiatives.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with attorneys, staff, and vendors.
- Ability to provide quality customer service to both internal and external contacts regarding financial matters.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Demonstrated basic knowledge of MS suite of products such as Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with or ability to learn enterprise accounting systems such as Elite 3E.
- Experience with Chrome River, or a similar system is a plus.
Education
The position requires a High School Diploma or GED. An undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or related field is preferred.

Our Firm is committed to fair and equitable compensation practice in accordance with applicable laws. The salary range for this position is $60,000-$75,000. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus. The salary for this position may vary based on location, market data, an applicant’s skills and prior experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other factors.
